Stub End Flanges (also called Lap Joint Stub Ends) are specialized pipe fittings designed for removable flange connections. They consist of two parts:
Stub End – A short pipe section with one end beveled for welding to the pipe and the other end flared (raised face) to match a lap joint flange.
Lap Joint Flange – A loose flange that slides over the pipe and bolts to another flange, while the Stub End provides the sealing surface.
